'Impossible is nothing!' - Dani Alves issues Barcelona rallying cry

The Brazilian full-back took to his personal Twitter account to voice his determination to overturn the 4-0 first-leg deficit to Bayern Munich and reach the Champions League final

Barcelona defender Dani Alves has issued a rallying cry to supporters ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg with Bayern Munich on Wednesday, suggesting that a comeback is not imposibble.

The Blaugrana must overturn a 4-0 deficit if they are to progress to the final at Wembley ahead of the Bundesliga champions, but despite the daunting challenge which awaits them, Alves insists his side will not meekly accept defeat.

"'Impossible' is just a word that weak men use to live easily in the world they were given, not daring to explore the power they have to change it," he said via his personal Twitter account.

"'Impossible' is not a fact, it is an opinion. 'Impossible' is not a declaration, it is a challenge. 'Impossible' is potential. 'Impossible' is temporary. 'Impossible' is nothing!"

Barca's clash with Bayern kicks off at 19:45BST at Camp Nou on Wednesday.
